Hello guy's & gal's

Here's the deal I am trying to make an 04 LSI from a GTO make 450whp .

This is what i have it's an 02 5.3l seems to me this motor has a descent set of heads .

I also have a 78mm T/B that been ported

I have just acquired a set of LS6 243 heads

now the question is which heads shall I use and what cam intake & T/B would you recommend to achieve this HP goal

I believe, but not 100% sure, that the 5.3 heads will give you a little better compression, but "as cast" the 243's will flow a little better. If I were doing it, I would have the 243's ported and use them.

Hey thanks I was thinking that but needed some reassurance . Hey any idea how good these LS1 heads will do on my 5.3l motor with a LS1 T/B is this an option that can work and make descent power on a little 5.3l .

LS1 heads will lower the compression on a 5.3 and shouldn't be used unless you're planning on a blower or turbo.

Hello thanks for the info i'll stay away from that **** I was hoping to use the heads for the upgrade . Well I guess their will be a set of Ls1 heads up for grabs soon .
