When I buy the head gaskets for my lq4 6.0 do the head gaskets need to be for a 6.0 because of the 4.00 bore? Also will my ls1 heads work or do I have to get heads for a 4.00 bore motor? I know every one says the 317s that came off of this motor are the same as the ls6 heads just with larger chambers. I will not be using the 317s as I already have a set of stage 2.5 ls1 heads

I used ls2 gaskets since my engine was not bored. I think they were a smaller bore then what the gaskets for a 6.0 truck is. I bought mine from Brian Gruben at Scoggin Dickey.
