Default New set up

Well, after having a lifter go bad, I pulled the top of engine down and now am going to set up a bit. Ordering a new cam and set of heads. I believe either Patriot or TEA offer some nice heads at a fair prices. Here are my plans:
TEA 5.3 heads or Patriot LS6 heads, a cam in the 228/234 or 234/238 range. This is a 75 % strip 25% street car...

Does this sound like I am in the ballpark?

Do you want to have/hear a choppy idle? I would look into a 111, 112lsa.
