I'd call a sponsor- someone like Texas Speed, Thunder Racing, Etc. They will be able to give you a complete package for your install. They will also answer any questions you might have on a combo they suggest.

Good luck

I can help you out with a package well within your budget.
You have a few options and you've already set your budget.

400rwhp with heads and cam....

228r and patriot stg2.5 5.3L heads

should be 400-420rwhp...only about $2500 with incidentals (no including labor).

you'll have $$ left over for extras like suspension or possible intake upgrades.

another option..slightly milder...would be the TR 224 cam with some AFR 205 heads.
cost would be a bit more but power down low should be better and VERY street friendly.

Is your wrist broken? Just do the labor yourself.
