Default max effort heads cam 346's come in.. weiand or fast 92

So now that the weiand intake is out and shipping...
Great price of 650 + ls2 ported tb works very well.

vs

Fast 92 setup with a 92tb

I always like better powerband and more throughout which the weiand claims but for a motor built to spin to 7-7200rpms then? fast 92 might be worth it.
I only spin mine to 6900 but with a forged bottom end, high flow oil pump I will probably go higher as she is still holding power...

tell you the stock ls6 intake has done me good but its time for a upgrade now that the weiand is out.
Also did anyone here if TFS might be coming out with a intake?

Try ordering it and see what happens...

But honestly, you answered your own question. Max effort? Why wouldn't you use the best, proven parts, not ones that were designed for low RPM street driving?

not low rpm street driving.... they claim increase all over to 6500rpms.. Im only revving 500rpms pass that.

If this thing can put down better #S to 6500 like 10-15rwhp+ througout it is better.

Sheet metal with a 100mm tb. If not, then the fast 92. I've been waiting on the street warrior too, but am saying screw it and getting a ls6 this week.

What they claim and what you'll see are two different things...there have been numerous claims with no hard evidence to back it up.

So really, the choice isn't which intake manifold to buy; it is whether or not you believe the marketing hype vs. real-world data for the FAST since it is actually on shelves and not vaporware.
