I have had my cam for a while but since my car has been down it has not been installed. I am just trying to get an idea of how many of those with this type of cam are happy with it? If so what size cam did you get and how much power/E.T.s? I know it is a lot of questions but hopefully someone will chime in and answer... Thanks

I have a very similar 224 XE-R. I'm very happy with the cam. Idles great and is civil. I expected it to be less tame than it is, I think a 227 XE-R might have been about perfect too but I had an emissions concern. The cam is fine daily driver wise. I don't spend hours in bumper to bumper. It will surge a little a low speed in a parking lot but if you go slow enough so with the stock cam. This cam is a very nice match with 4.10 gears. I don't think the car would have lost much bottom end even with 3.42.

Thanks I added all the same mods you have except I have true duals not the y-pipe. Oh, I also don't have heads...

I have all the standard bolt-ons and a XER cam- see sig for mods and specs. It put down 406rwhp and 391rwtq with the stock 10 bolt/3.42 gears- stock heads.
Torque curve was also pretty damn flat.

i put down 382hp and i think 379 ftlbs with that same cam
should be noted stock pulley and tb (another 15 there)
and was on a pessamistic dyno(about 10 hp flat from other dynos) she put over 305 hp from 2000-6600 rmps! no flat spot any where
i couldn't be happyer
