Default Ms3 vs. Trex

So all you know I've been wanting to do a cam on my SS for the longest time.
I originally wanted to do a Ms3. There's a few guys who have them and I still want it,but feel like I kinda want o set my self apart a lil.So I've been looking into a trex cam. I know they are both big cams. Import slayer has a trex cam and he hasn't had any issues with it. he was daily driving his t/a and said it was fine.anyways I want to know what you guys think. I want a cam only car for now, because I cant afford to do heads for the moment.

here's a trex cam

seriously if thats your dd. get something with a better PTV clearance. the t-rex is not a street /dd cam i dont care who your are. a custom cam would make better power for your application anyway. pm patrick g or predator z they will hook you up better than a off the shelf cam

ms3 is a great cam, as well as the trex, but it really depends on ur goals! u cant really go wrong with either cam. and as far as driveability goes, it all depends on the tune. especially with the donkey dick cams, and trust me i learned the hard way, invest in some gears! they make big cams FUN

they both will be pretty good cams and should make some good power with just cam only. Like others said though, i think it does depend on how well of a tune you have to make it more street friendly. I just installed a G5x4 cam which is bigger then the MS3 and right now without a tune it isnt too bad. But i do wanna take it in soon.

Either cam you go with should be a good choice. Just make sure you clear PTV!

Trex makes better dynamic compression and top end than the MS3. Basically it is superior in all aspects. Case closed between those 2.
