Default Tr 230/224 opinions

Hi, I am looking to cam my 2004 gto and really like the torque under the curves that these reverse split cams produce. I was wondering, who has experience with this cam and how does it run? What numbers did you put down at BOTH the track and dyno?

Thanks

Give that Patrick G Torquer cam from TR a look! THere's a write up on here for it.. I Like how TR seems to do a lot of research for power under the curve!

224/228 .637 .639 110+0.. I've got one and I love it!!! Great driveability and it pulls NICE!

I put down 390rwhp and ran a best of 11.90 with this cam. I love it and would buy another one for a mild street car..

My buddy makes 425rwhp with the TR230 & a old set of Absolute Speed Stage 2 heads. He runs 11.3@123 in his full weight, 02 Ws6, 6 speed car.

I love mine....pulls hard from any speed and any RPM. Times in sig were full weight, 3/4's tank of gas and partial tune. I've since had the tune completed and I'll be going back in October to get some better numbers. Great cam though, and sounds mean as hell at idle.

I'll be getting the PRC Stg 2.5 5.3L heads for it soon at the recommendation of PatG and PredatorZ. Can't wait to see what those do for the setup!
