Default What else + cam ..first cam swap help

I'm buying a custom cam soon ..what other things should I take ?

*Fuel system ?for example Injectors ? fuel pump ? I don't want the to be lean..what exact# specs

*oil pump ? ....
*water pump ? ....

any other things ?

cuz this is my first cam swap

Do i have to but adjustable timing chain to not affect advance-retard ?

Do i have to buy adjustable timing chain ?? I've read that it affects advance and retard !!

Go with an LS2 chain. You will also need some new valvesprings, oil pump, pushrods. The fuel pump, water pump, and injectors is not a have to. I would replace the fuel pump and waterpump if you have a high mileage car.

while you have the pulley off might as well get a underdrive crank pulley

I already have UD pulley...

so, I don't have to be afraid that the car will be lean ?

ull need springs, and pushrods.

u might also want to look into an ls6 oil pump, ls2 timing chain, and if ur set on a fuel pump, go walbro

I noticed GM Performance Parts makes a timing chain guide that will help take up the slack in the chain...even a new chain seems quite sloppy. I would have gotten one of these if I knew it existed when I did mine last year.
