Out of the box 5.3l heads won't work very well at all. The 6.0l head is designed for a bigger bore so you'll kill off some compression installing them stock. For the money you might look at the PRC Stage 1 LS6 or my favorite the Stage 2.5 5.3l heads For the money they make power compareable to the major aftermarket castings at half the price!!
