is white smoke acoolant issue?

Re: is white smoke acoolant issue?
In my experience, a coolant leak is usually persistent. Sometimes they appear under WOT when the pressures go up but generally you'll see the white puffs out the pipes all the time on a coolant leak. Open your radiator cap when the car's running and look for small bubbles, too. That's sometimes a sign of head gasket issues. Do you need to top off the coolant regularly? Also an indicator of potential problems.

Black or grey-brown smoke = rich . Blue- white or blue -grey = oil and white = coolant. Smoke on startup , idle, shifts and decel is usually valve seals and or guides ( although it can also be PCV). Smoke on WOT is usually piston rings ,coolant or too rich depending on what color
