Default '06 Silverado 2500

I tried searching but I found no answers to a couple of questions I had.

I spun a bearing in my '99 SS Camaro.
I found a '06 Silverado 2500 motor that I was thinking about building and putting it in there.
Is this still a 6.0 liter iron block, or the 6.2 liter aluminum? (don't know what came in the '06's)
What tooth reluctor ring will it have? I will probably need a new ECU huh?

2006 was still a 6.0L engine....which is the LQ4...

Im not too positive on the reluctor ring, but should it be the 54x(? or is it 58x) gear, you can change it to the 24x..

Just swap the one from the LS1 that's in it? Is it difficult? I work on LSx cars a lot, but never swapped a truck motor.

I also heard that I would have to relocate/modify the knock sensor & CPS, is that true? How is it done?

The LQ4 uses the 24 tooth reluctor ring, same as the LS1 car and LS2 truck.
