Default 98 heads

Do us guys with 98 cars have any options in changing heads without changing our old style valve covers. I would like to get some 4.8 or 5.3L heads ported for my car. Does anyone know if they or anything else ever came with the old style valve covers.

Default Re: 98 heads

Unless you get a set of center bolt valve covers and the coil brackets that are used with the centerbolt valve covers, your only option is to have your original 98 heads ported.

Hey, there is nothing wrong with the 97-98 perimeter bolt heads. They will accept the same porting program that is used on the later style heads.
