I was told by my mechanic that the PCM is locked, so it cannot be tuned past minor things like a few degrees of timing, etc.

I've spent now a considerable ammount of money on parts, labor, etc, and its adding up. Is there a way around this?

it's an 02 PCM out of a camaro put into an RX7

Sometimes a handheld tuner will *lock* it but I think all you need is a techII to over ride it. The tuning section can tell you quick enough, the thread should be moved or start one in there yourself, you'll get a quicker resolution.
