Default Time to build a "hopefully LSX" motor for the goat

have been talking to a few builders about a stroker motor setup the goat, i have an 06 m6 with the motor out of it right now. I'm going to basicly have a long block built hopefully like to build a 427 or bigger. It will be mostly street driven with maybe a few passes. need some advice on what to run (cam, heads, intake, clutch, shortblock, and the works).

I don't think you will be able to stay under 10k for a built 427 LSX block with all the good stuff, not to mention you want clutch, tune included with the small stuff (injectors, etc.) A built LSX 427 is most likely 12-13k by itself, clutch another $800-$1000, Tune another $500. If that is your budget I would look more toward an LQ9 iron block or using your original engine to keep the cost down
