What year is your car? A4, M6? 01 and 02 you have an LS6 manifold so you won't see as much of a gain going to a FAST 90 or 92 compared to if you have an LS1 manifold.
Most people will agree that for a DD you will want to stay away from a giant cam such as a MS4 or a Trex and stay with something around 220s or low 230s but not everyone will tell you this as you will see.

my .02 is that donkey dick cams are pointless for the average DD. if your goin ***** to the wall, all out track car then yea that size cam would be ideal, but the smaller to average sized cams are key for most DDs. more useable power down low, better torque, and a better curve. you dont want to have to rev your car to 5k rpms just to get in your power band. id say either have a custom cam spec'd or go with a "medium cam" high 220s - mid 230s to satisfy your needs

I love my T-rex. I haven't had it tuned yet, but it still runs fine. Shitty low end, and loads up at idle. But with a tune, it should take care of some of that. It's not a good DD. Stop lights suck.

Both to BIG IMO. Use something smaller. Low to Mid 230s.
