Cam only 7.425 pushrods (comp cam)
Base circle is smaller than stock so it needs a bit longer ones.

well i talked to the place that made the cam and he gave me some specs but he said i think right after he told me well i don't want i think i want the real spec but if what he told me is right than the base circle of the stock cam to the new one and the new one is a .100'' smaller so my teacher told me that i will need pushrods .100'' longer and he has been doing this for a long so i just want to know if anyone can find the real spec

There is no way you need .100 longer pushrods unless you are running ETP heads

Trust me 7.425s will be super.
Base circle on That cam is smaller by around .07x, take the effective radius .03x, so 7.425s will put you real close to stock preload.
Always stay a bit under, never go over.

How much noise? might be other than preload related. Lifter or rocker?

What else are you not telling us? give full mods.

also check for exhaust leaks, they can sound like lifter or valvetrain noise.
