Default Victor Jr. with an Elbow

I currently have L92 Heads with the L76 Intake. I'm thinking about converting to a Victor Jr. EFI setup and swapping the Cam to get more power out of it. Also I would be using an Elbow with my 90mm TB to save some space and money.

What would be the best Elbow to go with?

Also, who has the best price on an EFI V Jr. Intake for the L92/LS3 Heads..?

Any ideas on how much power it would gain? Right now I shift at 6500..it has nothing past that. I want to be shifting it at the 7200+ area.

Thanks.

I think the runners on that intake are too short for a hydraulic roller set up and the lack of a decent plenum area will hurt it as well. I think you would actually lose power, alot down low.
But, if you do decide to go with an elbow I would go to intakeelbows.com. Don't go with a low profile elbow, it will kill it.

Any elbow is gonna kill it, Go ahead and break down and buy a 4bbl TB and be done with it..

You'll be alot happier i promise..

I was thinking that at first..just fitment in the Engine Bay would be the downside on that. If I swapped the Engine into an old Chevelle..which is something I want to do one day..then I will go that route.

I just put some new l92 heads on my turbo car. I need another intake so I ordered a Vic Jr with the "low flow" elbow. I figured since I was FI the elbow would not hurt that much.... I guess we will see. I was going for looks any way since my car is not legal for anything faster the 10:00. Is the Edelbrock elbow really that bad?

i think if you switched to a VFN sunoco hood and cut the cowl you could run the 4150 TB If the windshield wipers are not critical. I did like the elbow but it hurt power. Or so I thought at the time. I am sure the 4150 TB is better. I have a Few pics of my set-up both ways.

This is what I run now.

This is prolly the best way to go for sure if your going with this intake merve. You'll want to go SD Tune though, it might not run that great in certain area's, but if you have a good tuner on call then i'm sure making it smooth as possible will not be an issue as long as your cats are hooked up for a closed loop.

You said that your car makes nothing past 6500RPM correct? You'll need a matching cam for this intake and your heads. My car has the Texas Giant Cam slighty modded.... lol Ok it's a ******* monster. With Ls3 heads milled to 68cc, 11:5:1, 92mmTB, and a L76 it made 527/475. It made 450lbz torque at 3000 RPM lol It's one hell of a ride on street tires or nitto's. It chokes air for air after 3850RPM. I'm curious how much harder this modded cam will be pulling with the vic junior and a 4Brrl TB. Elbows have been know for low end kill man. Do the search for it i did my homework. The only elbow you can get away with is aarons ultra low custom elbow.

I plan on getting a custom one spec'd if I swap over to a V. Jr. setup..that way I can get the most out of it.

I wish I coud see these pics..being overseas blocks them out on the computers..

Damn, when did you deploy again? I finally got the fuel system lined out on my car. Had to go to MT 275 DR's. The BFG street tires were useless.

Which Would Be The Best Intake To Go With A Hyd. Roller Setup With A 4150 Or Even A 4500... Super Vic??? Could Possibly Turn Out To Be A FI Setup But Not Sure Yet
