what year an model car/truck have the lQ9 block???

At work right now so I cant google it ATM, but IIRC 2005+ Yukon, Tahoe, Denali, and Escalade. Again, I'm not 100% sure but, its somwhere along those lines.

i believe LQ9 is the iron block 6.0 it came on escalade 2005+ and youkon denali.

thanks guys i have a 98 z28 with like 190xxx miles an i want to do a swap soon an for the 1st time and ive heard that the lq9 is the best route to go with motor swap an i plan on doing head and cam

LQ9 is gen III and was around at least in 2002 with iron block/ aluminum heads. I got one from an escalade.
