Tall Deck LSX in 98-02 F-body
Has anyone stuffed a tall deck LSX engine into a 98-02 f-body???
Do you have any pictures?
What intake did you use?
What kind of clearance problems did you run into?

Vengeance Racing did a Tall Deck RHS build and put it into an F-Body. I know they spaced the K-Member down 1/2" and the ARH headers bolted right up with no clearance issues. The headers were the 1 7/8" Primaries too.
They did mention that the coils needed to be relocated due to the Brake booster and "Maybe" the AC Box being too close to clear the coils/Brackets.
I also recall them stating they needed to Use a longer serpentine Belt b/c of the taller deck moving the heads up and a little further apart. And that they needed 1/2" Spacers (available through Texas Speed or SDPC) in between the Heads and the Intake Manifold. Not to mention you will need a Gen 4 (ls2) Conversion Kit to run it in a 4th gen F-Body. It runs about $300 from Texas Speed or SDPC.
If you have anymore questions, pm me. But I think I just about covered it all.
