I am looking into putting a cutout on my Camaro but I am trying to see if anyone can give me a general idea of how much louder this will get. I love having a loud car but I do not want to get pulled over every time I pass a cop because my car is too loud. I have heads, cam, no cats, Borla exhaust, and much more but that is really the parts that will effect how loud it is.

Best way to find out is disconnect your intermediate pipe to your y pipe and see how it sounds.

I had a cutout and had the same upgrades before my LQ4 came alive sounded great get a three inch cut out and summit racing electric cut outs it will sounds nasty as hell what cam ya got in it ?

From my experience I don't think you'll want to drive around with the cutout open. It sounds great above 3500rpm or so but pretty dirty below that. I open mine up when I want to play or be obnoxious or when some fart-can Honda throws revs at me at a light. They slink off after that.

I wouldn't use a cut out on the street it will probably get you a ticket.
When I had mine I only opened it at the drag strip.
