Vacuum leak whistle

Vacuum leak whistle
Hello, my 2000 SS Camaro has an annoying high pitched whistling noise at idle and low rpm's. It seems to increase with engine temp. The whistle also sounds like it's coming from the back of the intake, which makes it hard to put a hand on it, since the engine is halfway under the cowl. Anyone ran into this noise? Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks,
Josh

I have a very similar sound. Does it still "whistle" like a turbine when you shut your car off?
I know what it is on mine, but it's not worth the hassle of messing with it. It happened when I replaced the Air Check Valve just to the right of the intake underneath the cowl. Basically, it controls whether you have air blowing in your car when you change the AC controls.
I think I don't have the hoses on completely sealed, but it hold vacuum just fine. Just an annoyance. Any issues with blowing cold air in the car?
