Balancer to water pump alignment issue Balancer to water pump alignment issue

I have part number 12601402 ls3 balancer on a 2010 ls3 went to install water pump part number 12610169. balancer pulley is not stuck out far enough. pulleys are way off ?Do i need another water pump or can i shim the water pump ? Thanks Robert

Had the same problem with my pulley check it might be the wrong balance i ordered a billet powerbond over ati for the price... Is it for a vette or a f-body??? They have different offsets like a stock body rear end and a narrowed 9" rear end... Lol The balancer would go on, but it would let the belt line up.
