im building a 408 storker going to run the super victor jr intake but dont no what intake is better the edelbrock elbow or aarons elbow.....what will make more power........

Do not use an elbow, if you do a fast style will run circles around it...

mmm do tell more i have a elbow as well ...some tuners feel the elbow is better ..cold air from front rushing in vs droping in hot from above

No one I have ever met, heard of or seen likes an elbow. They **** up the incoming air, distrobution gets all screwy.

As for cold air, not a problem if you make a pan to draw from the cowl area.. Even drawing ambient air, it runs circles around the elbow....

with a vic jr. not much, with a supervic with a spacer like mine you have to cut the cowl... You could probly get away with trimming the plastic and a slight notch of the cowl sheetmetal.

Per most threads on here, if you take off an elbow and replace it with a 4150 TB, you will net 50hp -/+! This seems to be the average across the board.

Elbows are great for FI, but fur N/A.... NO!

And believe me... this sucks! I found a twin elbow with the TB opposing each other... talk about SICK...! I couldn't wait to run it on my setup, but after I heard about the elbow issues, I was pissed! I will take form over function only so far, so I guess my line in the sand is at 50hp or so.

Vic jr W/ elbow set up is NOT good for the street or NA set up. FAST or plastic set up get my vote.
