Good deal. You make 9xx with 1 3/4" primaries. You've never wondered how much more power you could make with a larger more free flowing exhaust..?

Not that you NEED it but man, seems like you're choking the exhaust flow...

With forced induction free flow (1-7/8') is better because you are not relying on velocity to scavenge. The larger primaries and collectors would benefit max power in your case.

The long 1-3/4"" primaries with superior collector design are what sets the LG Pros apart from others on stock cubed LS1/LS6 combos.

I'd be very interested to see. You make insane power as is. It'd be VERY interesting to see what you make after.

What are you running behind the headers? Cutouts or what?

"1 3/4 to 1 7/8 primaries to 3" collector"

Where would one find a header like this? I heard someone mention XS POWER, anyone have any idea the quality of their collectors?

Can anyone recommend some good center dump, block hugger headers for a 5.3 out of an 07 Tahoe? I'm putting the engine in a Volvo 960, and think the stock exhaust is not going to work. Said engine is going to remain close to stock, at most I'll put a cam in it, reprogramming the ECU, and possibly replacing the pistons. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey guys. I saw so much input here, I thought I would post my little dilemma here. So I'll start with this:
Current build; Aftermarket Camshaft (unknown specs) 85mm Intake 85mm Throttle Body SLP Bellow and Air Lid A/C Delete. Mcleod LS7 clutch, Headers (cat delete) 3" mandrel pipe Magnaflow Muffler.

The 1 7/8" headers finally blew a hole (rust, and running next to a Vette), and sounds like garbage. They're fiberglass wrapped (should've taken it off, but that's moot at this point).
I'm looking at Hedman 1 5/8" stepped to 1/78" headers (#68534). The cam causes a lot of valve overlap, and the exhaust smells of un-burnt fuel, which could partially be due to no cats (considering a high flow cat now). I'm wondering if the stepped headers would be a better choice, since the larger headers on there now could be over-scavenging at idle?

Any advice would be helpful. I want to get new headers, as it's kind of embarrassing having a nice ride that sounds like it's running with a broken crank. I plan on having the factory heads redone, or eventually a rebuild, but I'll worry about that when the time comes, and upgrade the headers then, if need be.
I've read that smaller primaries are better for low end torque, and larger for high end torque. The stepped should give better overall performance through the power curve, right?

I know I sound like a bit of a noob, but that's why I'm turning to people with experience.

Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!
