Default **What are my options? - Drive By Cable TB for an LS3**

I'm putting an LS3 in my '02 TA. What TB should I use? Obviously I can't use the original LS3 TB, but what size is it? 90mm?

Which TB should I go with?

Thanks

Dan, I used the 92mm I had from my ls1 FAST setup. Any 4 bolt cable driven tb should work though. Original one is 90mm I believe.

I was told FAST TB's were junk. Any others have bad experience w/ them?

Scratch that. It wasn't a FAST, it was a Nick Williams. According to the tuner, the blade had to be drilled as well.

I have both and while I do love the trees, I am willing to give up one or two.

Ryan will be doing it, but I will try helping anyway I can. Just need a few more parts.

Not sure exactly... timing cover (I think?) a harness or two, that LPE converter box, a TB, and some pushrods.

I wasn't aware you did the swap... what happened w/ the LS1?

Mine will be 10 years old on April 20th, and currently has 194k miles. It's a good time for a newer engine. I'm taking the LS1 to my parents' house and just leaving it in storage.

i have the 92mm fast throttle body, it doesnt have the sticking factor like the old ones.. but with that said the set screw for the cam on the side of the tb did come loose and caused alot of hurtful words about f.a.s.t. to be said. tightened the screw up and its been fine.
