Question regarding DMH cutout with a flowmaster muffler vs stock muffler Ok so right now I have a DMH ecutout right behind the axle with a flowmaster catback. When I open the cutout it obviously gets louder but if I was to close it, it would go through the flowmaster muffler.
Very simple and easy to understand. Now if I wanted it to be quieter when I had that e-cut out CLOSED could I simply swap out the flowmaster muffler for a stock one? If I did this would it change the sound of the car when the Cutout is OPEN? Since the cutout is before the muffler i'd imagine not, but I hate assuming things.
