Default Can these L92 Heads be fixed? ((PICS))

I am buying a L92 block with 60K to build for my C5. The heads are off the same block but the problem was that it dropped a intake valve and damaged the piston and chamber. So they just changed out the motor. The damage did not get into the valve seat at all.

So I need to know if it would be easier to buy a used set or fix the one damaged head and run them. They will not be ported just cleaned up.

From the pictures I would say so. I have seen a lot worse than that get repaired. Next question is the cost involved repairing the old head or getting a new one.

A piston break apart?

Those don't look to be ported so may be cheaper just to grab another than repair.

That's my thing. If it cost anymore than $200 to fix I'm better off buying a another set.

get another set. sell thos off for whatever can get from em. maybe a vj can fix em and some grinding in the chamber to smooth the rough spots. perhaps someone on a budget can use em.

If only one is ruined I have a single one that matches your casting numbers in good shape.
