Default SLP Loudmouth on 01Trans AM WS6..... Worth it?

Looking into an exhaust and the SLP Loudmouth Catback is cheap so it makes me ask the question.... if I buy it will I be happy with the sound?

I am just looking for some advice from all of you who know more than me. It seems that the SLP loundmouth is somewhat popular.... but the price scares me.... am i wrong in this emotion?

Depends on what type of sound you are going for. If you want an aggressive sound the the slp lm1 is the way to go that's what I have on my ws6. Its the best set up for the price but if you plan on getting headers in the future you might want to get something else because long tube headers +slp lm1 is way too loud and raspy but if you plan on staying with stock manifolds and cats I highly recommended

i had slp loudmouth before my heads/cam install and loved it. Once I got headers and cam then I hated it. Way too raspy and wasn't a very deep sound.

On stock manifolds the loudmouth can't be beat in terms of sound and performance.

Well I had both SLP LM1 and SLP long tubes with my LS3 427 build. I liked the way it sounded. Everywhere I go, I got positive comments on the way it sounds. But I switched for bigger headers to let my motor breathe. But to me SLP exhaust sounds good.

Lm1 or lm2 sounds great on stock manifolds. But once you go ory it's way too raspy IMO, on catted y it sounds even better!

I have the LM1 on my SS... Manifolds and cats. No LTs yet... My car sounds evil... I love it... I got it goin to my CME... Hands down best lookn exhaust for the Camaros...

Glad you went SLP 02WS6_Publix... Hope u like it.. If it isn't loud enough u can swap out the resonator for the LM1... about $80-90 if I recall...

This is what I was told by quite a few people so I chose to pull the trigger and order it. I'm sure I will love the new sound of my TA!
