Default Help decide on mufflers!

So I am sick of my knock off 1 chambers, they seem to drone twice as bad as when I got them... and sick of the mustang sound on my camaro.

I have it down to 2 glasspacks

12" case 3" summit glasspacks

8" case 3" cherrybomb glasspacks

Either one will be dumped at the rear like the 1 chambers now, cherrybombs did very good on a dyno muffler test I seen and both of them run full 3" straight threw the muffler.

Here is the thing... My car is very loud on a cold start but when its wormed up it actually sound pretty tame at idle. I would like the car to be a bit louder, I am not sure if a 12" case is going to be any louder the a 9" long case 1 chamber, so I am leading toward the 8" cherrybombs. What do you guys think?

Before the hate toward glasspacks, I have had a set of 2.5 cherrybombs on my old 6.0 Lq9 dumped at the rear and it sounded awesome. Nothing close to what most people would think out of a glasspack on a junk pickup truck.

Exhaust sound Likes/dislikes is pretty much a personal choice. I say go for it, get the Cherry Bombs install them and make a audio/video clip we can all enjoy!

I don't want dynomax bullets man, everyone has them! I really loved the deep *** tone I had out of the cherry bombs on my 6 liter. I figure with this cam and headers should really sound deep and aggressive. I just don't know if I should do the 12" summits or the 8" cherrybombs , I do know I would pissed if the 12" packs were not as loud as the 1 chambers. I think I'll just man up and try the 8s, they should flow a little better too.

I used the ultra long 24" or 32" glasspacks on my 396 LT1 stroker and it was visicous. A little hillbilly, but borderline. I'm very much a sucker for the spintech pro-streets with an X-pipe. The best ever exhaust i ever heard was that setup on a high compression 355 SBC.

I have been told the longer packs will sound more hillbilly, I called cherrybomb and he said the short ones should sound pretty mean. I agree with spintech, I had a full 3 inch X pipe setup with sportsmans on my 468. That sounded increadable, I just don't have the coin for that right now. I evetually want a full 3 inch system with spintech pro shootouts, buts that's gonna cost me a bit, so am gonna wait till I get some other parts I want first.
