IIRC.......I read in a mag a few months back, that GMPP redid their CNC LS3 head for better flow. I seen them on Summit racing boasting some flow data too. again....IIRC

I agree I would suggest swapping the cam as well. ls3 heads like a larger duration split 23x/24x for example or 24x/25x iirc. Also a custom cam is always best. Tick is who I'm going through Martin seems to knows his **** and it's free just to see where you stand with your current cam.

Thanks for the kind words guys, but I think the OP will need some cathedral port heads to go with that nice new ported FAST 92 he just bought for the deal of a lifetime!!!

We're most likely going to get him into a set of TEA TFS CNC 235cc heads with the nitrous exhaust port and put a new more street friendly camshaft in there at the same time. I've got a cam that has proven itself time and time again with a 230cc-235cc intake runner and FAST intake with a 4" stroke. It will be a part of our new line-up of cathedral port stroker cams I'm designing soon, but for those that can't wait on the specs it will most likely be: 243/250 .624"/.595" 113+2

This profile will give good driving manners(especially compared to the OP's old grind) and make killer power across the RPM range with a great set of heads and some more compression. We will have a couple more aggressive and milder 4" stroke grinds so keep an eye out for those being released soon!

I've been getting some awesome numbers out of the square port deals lately.

I used to not be a big fan, but after finding the right cam profiles that allow them to shine I've been converted.

Martin lets come up with the perfect cam for these heads for my 408.I'm thinking the sd heads, but looks like the gmpp heads flow more.I'll hit you up this week.

Sounds good to me. Honestly flow numbers aren't everything and I've had some great results with the SDPC heads in several combinations.
