Default 2008 GT building for boost?

Buddy is looking into getting a 08 G8 GT

He is wanting to boost it down the road

How much is the stock block good for? Am i gonna need to have a short block built to go above 600? Is the fuel system capable of handling a boost? Am i gonna blow out the rear end/axles/trans by feeding her some more air?

Trying to get some questions answered. He previously owned a mustang and trying to convert him to the LS world

He will have to upgrade some of the fuel system but first off, what boost application is he going for? Turbo? S/C?

Stock block will hold good amounts with right fuel system. Specs of turbo amd everything must be taken in consideration to know how mucb it will hold and if the motor will be able to spool the turbo. You definately want to upgrade your suspension to put down the power, might consider getting better axles as well.
