Default Help please *update* post 9

I converted to an LS3 setup and need help running down a problem. Car runs fine at part throttle below 3600, as soon as you get in it it breaks up and won't pull (does seem to clean up a bit around 5k). I swapped coil packs, ohm'd out wires, swapped plugs, got rid of the crappy ev1 adapters for the racetronix adapters and chased every wire I could possibly think of. All grounds seem good and no broken wires. Could it be the fuel pump is going out? Maybe a bad cam sensor? It only runs bad under load.

I would check fuel pressure first, making sure that even under a full rpm run you have adequate fueling. Next I would check all grounds. Let us know what your findings are.

Fuel pressure is good, all grounds are fine. I am completely baffled.

Do you have a SES light on or anything?

Sounds like timing or fuel in the mid range. Possible knock sensor issue? If it was your fuel pump, you'd be losing power getting into higher rpm, not just in the middle. Also, I doubt its the cam sensor. But its possible. See what you find out on the sensors maybe. Its usually the little silly things that cause odd problems.

no ses and everything reads fine when data logging. The only thing you can see is that it leans out from 12.5 to 13.1 through the pull. Someone suggested I gap the plugs to .050, so I'm going to give that a shot. They are at .059 currently.

yes it has been tuned. All sensors are reading good when data logged.

Tracked down one issue only to open another can of worms. Had a problem with cam sensor harness after swapping A and C wires. Repaired that and and the car was running better, but not good and threw a p0102 code. checked the MAF, engine sens fuse and vacuum lines and nothing helps. cleaned up all grounds except the 3 on the back of the head. Whats weird is I pulled my air filter out and runs worse than with a dirty filter. I think my next mod will be lighter fluid and a box of matches.
