Default Wrapping longtube headers

Hey everyone I was wondering about how much header wrap I'll need to do a set of pacesetter longtubes. I'm gonna b using the titanium instead of the fiberglass stuff. Also should I use a certain thickness to make it any easier? If you have any idea how to wrap the tips would also be nice since I've never wrapped them before. Thanks for the help everyone! Greatly appreciated

I bought the 1"x100' roll of "lava wrap" and it barely did my midtubes. I would recommend the 1" as it does a much neater job. I would say you need at least 60' per side of 1". I also used stainless safety wire to secure (looks better and cheaper than the clamps IMO). Good luck, it looks awesome.

I'd go with the 2" titanium. Covers betters imo. Dip it in water before wrapping for a nice tight and easy job!

I used (2) 50' 2" rolls of DEI titanium wrap. Don't get it wet, it's not needed for the titanium wrap, and you need at least 10 of those stainless steel ties

(2)2X50 rolls of dei wrap to do my Kooks, just barely had enough. You can get stainless ties at Home Depot for $3.xx per 10 pack. Get extra.

We're talking the same stuff here . Easy to work with and holds color well.

(2) 50' 2" DEI rolls here and a bag of stainless wire ties from Lowes (I used worm clamps at the collectors). I wrapped my Hooker Super Comp 1 7/8s with about 3ft left to spare, and did a friend's 1 3/4s with about 6ft left over. Like said above, don't bother soaking it. Hit it with the header wrap paint when it's done.
