Default How bad is this timing chain

I assume this timing chain is pretty much toast? Or can i adjust it with the guide? I assume that's a no since it's not a tensioner of sorts?

That explains all the slack feeling on the crank when trying to remove the crank bolt...

Any way i can get the new chain on without messing up that pesky o ring gasket everyone keeps talking about? If i for sure have to remove it a p/n for that gasket would be great if you guys have it.

Thnx
Dave

if you are referring to the oil pump o-ring, then no. the oil pump is in front of the lower timing gear.
