Default 2014 gmc 6.2 into 63 corvette

I have 2014 gmc 6.2 that I bought at auction. I would like to remove the 6.2 and replace it with a 5.3 so I can use the 6.2 in my 63 corvette.
so is it just a direct swap out? The truck does have active fuel management. I can buy a 5.3 truck for cheap. I do need the engine light to be off for nys inspection, so must be correctly installed. I can just get the afm turned off in the ecm.The truck has low miles and is going to be handed down, so it will be in the family until death. Just wondering if anyone knows any problems I may incur. Thank you

Being a 2014, it should be a GEN 5 DI engine. You will need FEAD and extras for the vette. The 5.3 will need to be a 2014 or up 5.3 and a matching tune.

Or.....you can just buy a LS3 crate/long block/short block and install it into the 'vette and leave the truck alone. Would be easier and quicker than fumbling around with 2 removals and installs.....one of which would have very specific requirements.........

BTW.......is the 'vette gonna be a carb or FI setup?
