I'd like to see what the shorter runners do. I don't know that the super short race runners would be great given the FAST's internal plenum volume isn't huge, but the midrange ones might provide more power above 6000 in most configurations without giving up a lot of torque. Pretty ideal for a 402/416 with LS3 type heads and a hydraulic roller looking to spin past 6500. The short race runners might work past 7000 with a SR setup... have to wait and see.

That's very interesting. I'm going to PRI in two weeks at Indy....I'll investigate further and post whatever data they give me to better inform us.
My question is what about LS7 platform?

The runners should eventually be available for all LS engine types....or so I've heard.

They talk big number gains but at what cost down low? I know it's a give and take and usually heavier on the give side but I'm curious how much.

The original ones were an utter failure. They did a complete redesign on the. I gave up hope on these a long time ago.

I think the race runners with the truck upper could be pretty damn nice.

From what I was told they do have them completed and tested. If you buy the intake new you can order them with one of three runners (long, mid or short [racing they call them]) OR you can buy just the short styles and put them into your existing intake. As of today they are not available for purchase but they (F.A.S.T.) claim to be with in the next couple of months.

Maybe FAST is just waiting and seeing what this MSD Intake is all about.

Doubt it.

The MSD intakes have been on the market for MONTHS!

If they are really holding back to see 'what MSD is all about' and they still haven't figured it out, that would be pretty damn sad.
