Default PRC 285cc LS7 head damage

I picked up a bare set of these heads for a future 427 build. One combustion chamber has damage from broken exhaust valve. The price was right. Any input on repair? I can get more pics if needed. http://www.speedinc.com/shop-by-vehi...cfm-heads.html

I had a head with damage, after it was repaired couldn't tell it had damage,
start calling your favorite head porting machine shops and see if they do that.
that one is pretty rough though, all you can do is call. hope all works out.

I know it can be repaired after googling before I bought them. Just not sure on the cost. But am confident I can sell the one good head for quite a bit more than I paid for both. Have some emails out for quotes.

Weld it, mill it, new guides and seats with some blending to fix the chamber and port. I'd say $350-450 fix depending on how busy your head guy is.

Dietcoke, what kind of racing do you do with that car, I know it probably involves about
an hour of grin removal after you get out.

Wow, that chamber looks BAD! But since it looks like most of that damage is on the surface, it shouldn't be too bad to fix

Frankenstein Racing can repair that no problem. They repaired an LS7 head for me and it came out great.
