Default Are LS7 and LSx starters the same?

I keep going through starters on my car. Currently on my 3rd starter due to the solenoids failing from the heat of the starters. The car has an LS7 in it, are 5.3/6.0/6.2 starters the same dimensions or are they all unique to the engine? the car is a c6z, So just wondering if I can pull one off a 6.2 or any other Gen IV.

Why don't you put a heat sleeve/wrap on the starter?
