Default Thermostat Swap

Have a 2013 5.3L that I'm putting the 174 degree Lingenfelter thermostat in. (It's a separate piece from the housing). Went to a local autoparts store to get a housing seal, and they said it's not available "yet." On the later models does the seal on the thermostat also seal the housing to block? Or do I need to get this from the dealer? I know they changed from a one piece to conventional design, but I can't find any information.
