Except the IGA1 don't bolt directly too them.

Got my passenger side done and mounted, drivers side is being a bitch. Just too much stuff over there. Ordered some proform brackets. If those don't work may need to remote mount them in the fender.

Just reset the dwell tables. Nice difference. Seems snappier.

So you are saying you have the IGA1 coils and they feel snappier?
I see them in your picture, but cannot read the sticker on the coils, just
making sure that is what you are saying.

Yes, those are the IGA1 coils, mounted to holley valve covers, on a 427 lsx, 24-25psi of boost, ~1200rwhp.

Lots of hacking, cutting, fabbing, etc. They are not bolted right to the valve covers. Had to fab up brackets.

Thanks, I was curious if they made any difference in performance. Just
wish the price wasn't a secret.

So far it seems to have better part throttle, seem snappier. As for WOT, zero detectable difference which is what I expected. Price is going to depend on what you get. If you need brackets, or wires, etc. I didn't need the wires or anything so I'm sure my price was less than a full kit.

Default A Correct Spark Instant

Hi, this is the time, the WOT operation time, you may want to be CAREFUL.

I ask, the Spark Plug Gap ?
I ask, the Coil Dwell ?
I ask, the Spark Advance Change if any ?
I ask, the use of Silicon Grease ?

Gap is 30 for now.
Coil dwell is ~4.4 right now @ 14V. Alternator and charging system typically stays right at 14.5-14.6. Changed to flat value instead of dropping off like OEM
No change in advance, but I ran super super conservative advance. Peak is only ~14 degrees or so
Yes, used grease on wires.

I'm not saying there is or isn't a difference at WOT. Its a 1200+hp street car. It spins tires before, it spins them now. There is no way I'm feeling a zero, or a 100hp difference at WOT. Only way I'll know is next race in March, but I changed a bunch. Car just pegs out dyno so dyno testing won't show anything, unless it lost a bunch of power.

So I can't comment on WOT besides it smokes the tires like it did before.

Part throttle and idle it is better for sure.

Default LS IGN-1A hp gain for NA LS = 18

Hi, thanks for your report.
Your Spark Instant seems OK with my knowledge.
I would of guessed 12-14 degrees.

The March race preparation could include a tune change, tested and confirmed within the next two months.

I would increase plug gap to .050" - .065".
Does the Spark Plug Boot "touch" the plug steel ?
When this is NOT so, there will be a HV leak at that open area when plug gap is increased.
The "increase" in Gap will concentrate the Arc Duration Area to the 5000-7000 RPM range.
This Arc Duration CHANGES with Coil Dwell settings, a setting of 6-7 would be best at WOT, max boost.
The greatest setting value, of Coil Dwell, is 8.8ms with 80% Duty Cycle for a limited time, IE NOT 24/7.

Testing could be done at part throttle, a Part Throttle "hard" stop placed, with a back to back test on a known surface.

Got a 2nd set of plugs to test with opened gap. Just breaking in a new clutch and burning off old gas now.
No idea what you mean on the park plug boot toughing the plug steel. They are firecore promod plugs and "snap" on the plugs nicely.

I'll find my dwell tables later, but basically have it decreaseing as voltage increases. Something like 4.6ms at 12 and 4.4@14v. Flat over RPM. Factory has it dropping as RPM increases which didn't make sense.

Default Battery Comp = Ohm's Law

I corrected my "sp" the word was to be "touch", thanks.

The Battery "comp" = 14 volts @ "0", then 7V=2x, then 21V=.7x as a start, a straight line, a "slope" between points. (0=4.4@14 volts)

The MAP based dwell table is what you should use to ADD Dwell under boost.
There is a Duty Cycle table = RPM, now flat ?
