Default starting issue after cam install

I have a 2007 coupe with mn6. Mods are Vararam intake ARH w/cats, corsa sports, 160 thermo, Comp 232/238 .595 .605 - 112lsa, and Nelson Performance tune.
The cam is the center bolt design, not the 3 bolt design that is stock with the 07's, so the cam sprocket had to be changed to the older style.
Now when starting the car, it will crank for 3-4 seconds before it will fire up. I can shut it down, restart right away and it will fire right up normally.
Has anyone else run into something like this? If so, have you figured out a fix?
Is it possible to switch out the cam sensor to an 06 model?

How is your fuel pressure when trying to start initially? Versus starting later on.
