Default Clearance ?

Hey everyone I just bought a 2004 GTO and I just purchased a Cam (236/240 .606/.613 111 LSA) for it and I was wanting to throw some hand ported 5.3L heads on it I think they may need to be milled a little bit just for clean up. My question is if I have the milled say .010 will I still clear the pistons with that cam and a stock bottom end? Any help would be great

It WILL clear. but it will be a little tight ptv(for my liking) with the .010 mill and 111 LSA. You can retard the cam and gain a little clearance.

Its hard to say for sure, but it will be very close. You would be best to measure with clay. I have a smaller cam, non-milled heads, and thinner head gasket and I had to cut.
