Default GMPP 09 catalogue LS7 misprint?

I think this has probably been mentioned before but...

On page 195 (pdf page 99) in the GMPP 09 catalogue in the column for the LS7 heads 12578450 they have the LS7 heads marked up as marked as compatible with all blocks from the LS1 upwards, Now this must be a mistake right?

I could imagine they might make casting revision that might improve compatibility...or that the heads are compatible with any block, until you put valves in them, 12578450 is the bare casting part number isn't it?

Does that mean that only ETP that make a set of LS7 heads that will fit the LS2 and LS3 blocks?

Compatible as in water passages, bolt holes, dowels etc all line up. Not that the chamber and bore diameters match.

Ive heard the LS7 heads will fit an LS3 block but with loads of shrouding.

It is compatible with the LS1 block in the case of making a larger bore/or stroker out of the block by putting in sleeves for a larger bore and or larger crank combined with larger bore.

Exactly...look under all those "YES" and see the "**" for the last two. The note below the chart says "**=4.125" minimum bore".
