Default question about lq4 in an LS1

is there anything i need to do in order to just drop an LQ4 short block in my 98 z

nope, unless its an older lq4 ie 99-2000 i think (different crank)

also can i use my stock 241 heads with it and my ARP headbolts for the LS1

you will need to mount up your alt bracket and drill and tap an upper mounting hole. the LQ4 block only has the lower hole to hold the bracket.

thanks guys... being that my car is an A4 the input shaft should not make a difference right?
