What ported oil pump with 408?

Default What ported oil pump with 408?
I have heard of issues with front cover clearance with pumps such as the Melling ported. What is working for others out there? Thanks

You may have to clearance the front cover slightly if you do this with a double roller timing set. That is where the problem comes in. No big deal either way.

Are you using the 10296 or 10295?

I use the LS6 ported pump in my 418.

+1 the Melling pump is basically the same as a stock pump in size.
