C6 Magna 112 with engine swap --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Im trying to help out a friend, he has a C6 with a cracked engine.
Right now he's thinking bout installing a LQ9/LQ4 engine out the car, with the following mods:
- M112 with 6psi
- comp cam 222-228 / 566-571 / 114
- longtube headers
- afr heads 225 66cc
- Boost-a pump Fuel Pump
The problem he was having was when he went WOT, traction control flashed and the car would switch off by itself. I'm sure this can be fixed with tuning, but need some help if possible on this idea.
On another note, he's asking what kind of pistons to use? and if there is a problem using the Iron block in place of the aluminium.
We're not too sure of the compression as of yet.
If possible can anyone help us on the above?
