New 2008 LS3 GMPP create engine won't idle. Runs great, just won't always idle. Any thoughts? Am using GMPP harness and ECM.

Are you getting proper voltage at idle?

You have to work out your throttle follower, desired airflow, spark, and AFR's to get your car to idle off throttle without stalling. If its too rich/lean coming down to idle it'll bog/stall. If your throttle follower decays too quickly or is too small for the larger motor it'll bog/stall etc... Idle tuning can be a real hassle if you don't know what to look for.

I just installed a LS376/480 in my 68 C10 truck with a 4L80e and Speartech controller. When at a stop light, the truck wants to surge forward and feels like it is going to stall. Also, hot starts are like I have a carburator and the thing is really sucking fuel. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Take it to a good chassis dyno tuner

Check for vacuum leaks. Also bump timing in lower RPM if you have swapped cams
