Question LS7 Intake Manifold, Long EV1 injectors (LS6 ECM) what fuel rail?

Assuming some spacers will be involved if the LS3/LS7 fuel rail is used, but does anyone know how to combine the longer injectors with an LS7 intake manifold? Will any just bolt up without spacers? Which of the stock LS1, LS6, LS2, LS7 fuel rails will work? [Not interested in an aftermarket fuel rail.]

Thanks

not quite.

LS7/LS3rail with Katech LS7 spacer kit.

unless the LS2 rail is the same as the LS7/LS3 (which I don't think it is).

Why do you want to change to longer injectors? I have to assume your looking for larger injectors?

FAST makes drop in replacements for the short LS7 injector that are 50lb/hr (#30507-8)and 65lb/hr (30657-8). I wouldnt waist any money on spaceers, use the money to make the injectors cheaper!

I had the LS7 rail with the long injectors on mine and with the Katech spacer it worked fine.

The plug type on the injectors changed.

Long injector = EV1 plug
Short injector = EV6 plug.

I'd rather pay $30 for a spacer kit and a clean install than $100 and have a bunch of 6" pigtail wire adapters in the engine bay.

You do have the option of the short injector with the old style(F-Body)plug. Thats what I'm running now after my fuel upgrade. Motrons I believe?

6"? The ones that Frost sells are only about 1.5" long, and they're are a VERY clean install. I would highly recommend the shorter injectors as it looks much cleaner than a short manifold with a fuel rail sticking up high.

I'm definitely tending toward that solution. Thanks everyone for the useful info.
