It should be expected. The average built 408 makes over 500whp, why not an LS7 that has the best heads on the market that come on any car stock just about.

Cam, full exhaust, and a tune=80ish whp just about. Can't ask for anything more. Great #'s

Yep to the crank...80-90 rwhp gain basically from full exhaust and a nasty cam....not enough though....shooting for 600 real soon....the sound is way more pleasing than the power....shakes the whole damn car....I like that ****!

I did same thing, with AR headers, OR X, ported TB and manifold, and QM600 cam with TSP decked heads I went from 443 SAE RWHP (stock) to 571 SAE RWHP, with 512 SAE RWTQ.

The LS7 is an awesome platform.

Did you do all the mods at once? I'm curious what the heads add after the cam/exhaust/bolt ons?

I think another 40-50 can be had if the heads are ported by someone good and that cam is a nice match. 620 RWHP has been done by you-know-who and very streetable with head porting/cam/exhaust/tune. You want another possible 60-70 on top of that, get an ITB intake for $2,100.

My heads are milled .030", and using stock head gaskets. I dyno'd after every mod, and the heads added 30 rwhp and 20 ft lbs of rwtq.

Nice results. The nasty thing is your heads are not oprted yet. You could hit 570-580hp with heads, nasty power. Congrats to ya.
